Hey everyone. 

It’s my birthday and I am happy to celebrate with you. There is much to be grateful for. As much as I would say getting old sucks, deep within me I know getting older is a blessing. 

I spent my day yesterday with the MOP brothers. Then today I will be with my very own brothers. Will make our food eat and celebrate each other. I already celebrated mass for myself and gave thanks to God for my beloved mother and siblings.

Three decades of life is not a joke. It was during these years that I accomplished two big milestones in my life. I am proud of myself for that. This year 2023 I went home. Even though my going home after  6 years was received with rejection by my own and celebration by the neighbors there were moments afterward that I whispered gratitude prayers for being part of such a community Katheka. 

One lesson I learned this year is, to never force anything; friendships, outings, relationships, or conversations even family. I realized that whatever’s “forced” is never real, mutual, or worth the fight. 

If things flow, then they’re meant to be and if they crash, then just let them.
