Some years back, the brothers of Joseph sold him out of jealousy as a slave. Today in Gn 41:55-57;42:5-7,17-24, the same slave they sold will be the one to provide them with food. Sometimes in life, we hurt people without knowing they are to be our helpers tomorrow. In their minds, they were trying to destroy the dream of Joseph, but the Lord turned their evil plan into a blessing. How many people have you hurt in your own life today? How many are suffering because you betrayed the trust they had in you? How shameful it is for us to allow jealousy to help us to betray our loved ones? Think well before you do evil to someone today, God can turn it into blessings.
