What does “having it all” mean to you? Is it attainable?
I grew up information thinking I will love you all. Personally having it all for me meant being ordained having a parish and having a career in my vacation, maintaining friendships and maintaining close relationship with my family of origin, mentally healthy, and physical fit as I am priest. Now as a priest, that idea sounds silly and more fancy than reality Speaking with other young priest has proven having it all is is not about what is tangible.
I think it’s time to stop buying fancy of having it all and come to terms with the reality. We must figure out what is important to us and place our energy on those aspect of our lives, not unrealistic expectations. My message is not to put our energy into fancy but to clarity what is important to you and how you want to structure your life.
